Flight Instructor
Athena is a native Hoosier, born and raised in Indiana. With a love of science, she earned degrees in Biology and Psychology from Purdue University, originally on track to Medical School. After graduation, and inspired to travel, she moved to Jackson, WY. There she worked as whitewater rafting guide on the Snake River in the summers and a snowmobiling guide in Yellowstone National Park in the winters.
It wasn’t until 2019 that she discovered her love of aviation. After earning her PPL – CFII, she worked as a flight instructor in Indiana. But her love of the mountains called her back out west. She is excited to share her love of flying with future pilots and to see where her aviation journey takes her!
When Athena is not flying, she enjoys hiking, climbing, boating, cycling, and skiing. Anything and everything outside!
