Grayson grew up in West Virginia and studied Chemical Engineering at MSU. Before forming Ridgeline Aviation he worked in the field of Chemical Engineering. He began flying in college and instructing with Civil Air Patrol and the Manhattan Flying Tigers and quickly saw a need to help the general aviation community of Bozeman and got the idea to start Ridgeline Aviation.
