Director of Maintenance
Bitten by the aviation bug early in life, Kyle has always been an avid supporter of General Aviation. Raised in the lake country of Minnesota, he fondly remembers a family friend frequently pulling up to his dock in a Piper Tri-Pacer, named “King Loon”, letting his two dogs out to swim, and taking off with his two favorite (and soggy) co-pilots. At that moment, he knew he wanted to become a pilot and aircraft mechanic. Kyle enjoyed the countless times flying into AirVenture and camping as a child.
Before joining Ridgeline, Kyle and his late father Chris, ran an insurance agency for several years. After his father’s passing, Kyle sold the business and dove headfirst into aviation as a career. Kyle graduated Summa Cum Laude from an A&P school in Michigan and received his Private Pilot’s license at the same time. He holds an Inspection Authorization and has worked on everything from C172’s to Gulfstream’s in his career.
When he isn’t working, Kyle enjoys being a father to his three children, hanging out with his aviation friends, working on his collector car, and cooking.
