Dan grew up around aviation, logged his first lesson
at 14, and was preparing to become a flight instructor at 20 years of age.
However, after a taking a Criminal Justice course in college, he opted for a
career in law enforcement that lasted more than 25 years. Dan worked in a variety of assignments
ultimately serving as deputy chief of police for a large agency in Southern
California. Upon retiring, Dan returned
to aviation and has been providing flight instruction in Montana since
2019. When not flying, Dan enjoys
spending time with his family, being outdoors, and traveling.
